Biography

Claudio Rota is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication (DISCo) of the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy). His main research interests concern image and video enhancement and restoration. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2025, focusing on studying deep learning methods for video restoration. In 2023, he spent six months as a visiting student at the Computer Vision Center (CVC) in Barcelona (Spain). He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Computer Science at the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He is currently working on the Statistical Machine Learning for Exposure Development (SMILE) project.
