Biography

Flavio Piccoli took his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy) in 2019.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Instituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare – INFN) in Milan, Italy.
He is also an Associated Member of the Imaging and Vision Lab (IVL) and an adjunct professor at university of Milano Bicocca.

 

His current research interests focus on deep learning, computer vision, remote sensing, precision agricolture, anomaly detection, image generation, signal processing, audio processing and industrial quality inspection.

 

He has also done an abroad period at the Computer Vision Center (CVC) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), in the Learning and Machine Perception (LAMP) group.
