Stanford University recently published its latest classification of the world’s most influential scientists in 22 different fields and 176 sub-fields. The rank takes into consideration standardized information on parameters related to the impact of scientific publications: citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, etc.
